I still have my Aptiva case which I’m going to use when I get my Compaq mobo working.
It does support quads so I’m sure it will work fine.
do this mobo work well in quard core q6600 ,4 gb ddr2 800mhz n xfx geforce 9600gt ? i am thinking to buy tis mobo to replace my suck mobo
It has a 500 watt Antec NeoPower HE that I bought a while back when they were on sale for $70
You did upgrade the PSU right?
yay =D
Fixed it. Thanks.
Yeah you need your sticks in slots 1 and 3, the way you have it splits your performance to single channel which is the half the speed of your dual channel
What a case…
That cpu and motherboard deserve a better case
im gonna get a 4350 now, i will be able to play crysis on that
It was just a cheap $50 graphics card which is OK for stuff I do (editing video/pictures)
Don’t expect to play anything like Crysis with it.
hey, would you reccomend the graphics card? i am thinking about getting the same one as you, Thanks. p.s: does it overclock well?
Aaa olright, now i know it thanks.
Yeah.
If it comes with BIOS 1.3; do yourself a favor first and put 1.4 or above on it. When I first hooked this up, I had a some issues with it crashing and Blue Screen of Death on me until I updated the BIOS. It’s been running for about a month now with no problems since then.
Check the reviews on NewEgg; they also mention to update the BIOS if it comes with 1.3
Hey nice vid. Quick question, im thinking to get the same motherboard and the procesor, did you had to upgrade BIOS??? Thanks
dumb ass you always have a slot free between the 2 gigram then its not overheating and its much and much faster
Hmm nice, It’s really quiet, as opposed to my brothers power supply.
Thanks
It seems as if the e8400 processor is very popular judging from what I’ve been reading and it’s also a good overclocker. I did try overclocking it to 3.6 and it did well but ran hot (note that I have the stock, retail-box heatsink). Got my processor on sale for $155 at a store called MicroCenter.
I could use a better video card as well; I picked up the $50 Sapphire Radeon HD-3450 since I was on a budget and just wanted to get it going
ausome intell core 2 duo 2gig ram radion (grafics im guesing) you are set mam cool
Not bad got a E8400 myself need to get a better video card only got 7600GT KO from eVGA.
